Our Story

Kairos Church began with a simple conviction: that God’s timing is perfect, and every person who walks through our doors is here for a reason. What started as [a small gathering / a vision from our founding pastor] in [year] has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational community united by faith, love, and purpose.

Kairos Church is a Christ-centered community in Edmonton committed to helping people encounter God, grow in faith, and live out their purpose. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home, there’s a place for you here.

Our lead pastor

Fred Zamani is a pastor, author, life coach, leadership trainer, and passionate communicator of the Gospel whose ministry is driven by a deep love for God and a genuine desire to see people grow, flourish, and become all that God has called them to be.

At the heart of Fred’s ministry is a simple but compelling conviction: every person matters to God, and every life can be transformed through an authentic encounter with Jesus Christ. His approach to ministry goes beyond preaching from the pulpit. He is passionate about walking with people through their journey of faith, helping them discover their identity in Christ, develop spiritual maturity, overcome limitations, and live purposeful, impactful lives.

With more than two decades of ministry experience, Fred has served in various pastoral and leadership capacities, investing significantly in church development, leadership training, mentorship, youth development, and community transformation. His ministry has been marked by a strong emphasis on the Word of God, prayer, personal transformation, healthy relationships, leadership development, and raising believers who positively influence their families, communities, and spheres of influence.

His commitment to the Great Commission has also found expression beyond the local church. Fred has travelled to different cities and nations, preaching, teaching, training leaders, and participating in missions and ministry initiatives. He carries a strong desire to see the Gospel communicated across cultures and generations and to contribute to what God is doing in different parts of the world.

Beyond pastoral ministry, Fred is a life coach, brand strategist, trainer, conference speaker, author, and United Nations Peace Ambassador. His extensive involvement in leadership and youth development has seen him serve in leadership capacities at state and national levels. He is also the convener of the Young Leaders Conference, an initiative committed to equipping and inspiring emerging leaders to lead with purpose, character, excellence, and positive influence.

As an author, Fred continues to extend his message beyond the pulpit through resources designed to strengthen faith, families, leadership, and personal development. His books include Creating Your Reality and 30 Prayers to Say Over Your Children.

Despite the diversity of his work, Fred’s greatest passion remains people—seeing individuals encounter Jesus, find hope, understand their God-given purpose, grow in their relationship with Christ, and become agents of transformation wherever God has planted them.

As Lead Pastor of Kairos Church, Fred is committed to building a Christ-centered, multicultural community where people from every background can belong, grow, encounter God’s supernatural power, discover their purpose, and be equipped to make a meaningful difference in their world.

For Fred, ministry is more than a profession or platform; it is a calling, a responsibility, and a lifelong commitment to loving God, serving people, and advancing the Kingdom of God from one life to another and from one nation to another.
